SMOKED WEIZEN
This kind of beer was first brewed between the end of 1700 and the beginning o 1800, in Bamberg, a city in the Franconian Region. Its distinctive taste is due to the use of malt dried over a beech fire.

INGREDIENTS
Water, malted wheat (pale wheat malt, dark wheat malt, crystal wheat malt), malted barley (smoked malt, Vienna malt, Crystal malt), hops (Herkules), yeast

DESCRIPTION AND FOOD PAIRING
Reddish brown color, cloudy, fine off-white persistent froth.
The smoky taste is well balanced, the combination of malted wheat and malted barley aromas comes together in perfect harmony.
Hints of pear, orange zest and banana overlaid with smoky notes and  by notes of dried fruit. The finish is slightly bitter.
It pairs well with meat dishes like beef cutlet, lamb sirloin, wild game dishes, grilled fish, pizza topped with cheese and grilled vegetables
